Senior State Veterinary Inspector Mr. Nukri Gugushvili visited Khulo district to supervise vaccination process
Senior State Veterinary Inspector Mr. Nukri Gugushvili visited Khulo district in Adjara were took place business meeting. He also supervised process of vaccination in the district. Mr. Nukri Gugushvili hold meetings with chairman of local authority, farmers and local population regarding spring vaccination process. Because of Khulo is the boarder district the importance of prophylactic vaccination was emphasized at the meeting.

Meeting was held on 19 April 2008 with Minister of Agriculture of Adjara Mr. Emzar Dzirkvadze. Monitoring of iodized salt was finish
According to the agreed Working Plan 2006-2010 between Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia and UNICEF and the Annual Working Plan was performed monitoring of iodized salt in the unit trade facilities during 15 August to 30 December 2007 by the National Service of Food Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection.

There are caring out preventive measures against Avian Influenza spread in Georgia
Because of the Avian Influenza case detection caring out preventive measures against Avian Influenza are strengthened in Georgia. Disinfection measures are strengthened also on the boarder of Turkey. Emergency office against Avian Influenza have been established in Adjara and in all districts of Georgia were hot-line is functioning 24 ours a day. Offices are equipped with disinfection and all necessary measures.
