Within limits of its authorities ensures people’s awareness of the service current issues through mass media, including regional one. It considers and responds the letters, applications and claims received by a hot line; provides operative and comprehensive information about the service activities as well as that on the issues actual for public; contributes to a positive public opinion formation about the Service; if necessary organizes press-conferences, briefings, meetings, interviews, presentations and seminars organization and holding, regularly issues press-releases, participates in preparation and dissemination of bulletins, information booklets, instructions and video reels; examines a public opinion about the Service, carries out daily monitoring through mass media, verifies exactness of published materials and takes relevant measures if necessary; ensures a public information provision according to legislation, cooperates either with Ministry of Agricultural of Georgia and other services of executive authorities or with non-governmental and international organizations.
