Registration and Permissions Division issues permits of 2 kinds: About import of products subject to veterinary control and import of products of vegetative origin subject to transit and phytosanitary control.

Products subject to veterinary control are animals of all kinds, products of animal origin and raw materials, animals’ food (nutrient supplements), biological, curative and other chemical and pharmaceutical preparations to be used in veterinary. 
Products of vegetative origin subject to phytosanitary control are products, materials and objects subject to phytosanitary control, through which it is possible quarantine subject organisms dissemination.

To receive a permit for transit and import of products subject to veterinary control an applicant shall submit the following products:

1. Application;
2. Permit duty payment certifying receipt;
3. Veterinary certificate;
4. Extract from the enterprising registry

For import of biological and curative preparations there shall be also submitted a registration certificate.

A permit for transit and import of products subject to veterinary control shall be issued in 1 month.

To receive a permit for transit and import of products of vegetative origin subject to phytosanitary control an applicant shall submit the following products:

1. Application;
2. Permit duty payment certifying receipt;
3. Extract from the enterprising registry

 A permit duty may be paid in any bank at the following requisites:

Amount of a duty is determined the following way:

1. Import and transit of chemical and pharmaceutical preparations subject to veterinary control – 50 GEL

2. Import and transit of animals subject to state veterinary control (including mammals, birds, fish, bees of any kind) embryo, incubation egg, impregnated roe, raw materials of animal origin (including leather, wool, fur, bone, intestines, bone and meat powder) – 30 GEL

3. Import, transit of animals’ food products (nutrient supplements) – 50 GEL

4. Import, transit of products of animal origin – 50 GEL

5. Import of products of vegetative origin subject to phytosanitary control – 25 GEL
