Deputy Head of the National Service met with the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara
Deputy Head of the National Service of Food Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection Mr. Nukri Gugushvili held the first business trip in Adjara. Meeting was held on 19 April 2008 with Minister of Agriculture of Adjara Mr. Emzar Dzirkvadze. The discussion was about the gaps and problems that have been accumulated in the sphere of food safety, veterinary and plant protection. The plan to resolve current problems was elaborated on the meeting. According to the statement of the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara the preparedness measures against Poliphag Pest - American White Butterfly have been already begun in Adjara. Accompany to the planned spring measures sawing up the trees have already begun in Khelvachauri and Kobuleti. Animal spring vaccination have also begun in the frames of state program.
